If you enjoy traditions like me, you may want to make this easy apple cider bar one of them! One of the benefits of doing my job is that I get to create fun and special moments for my girls, and Jeremy too. They always appreciate my efforts and it’s so important that we all stop and spend face to face time with one another. We’ve been enjoying apple cider and donuts for many years, and it all started with finding delicious homemade apple cider and apple cider donuts at our favorite pumpkin patch in Oregon, Bauman Farms. They make everything on site, and everything is amazing. I didn’t always do a cute set up, but we always stopped and enjoyed this treat together. You can watch this short video Pin of me putting it together – it was so much fun, and the girls were excitedly waiting for it1

An easy apple cider bar is pretty straight forward and self-explanatory, but I’m hoping that my easy apple cider bar will inspire you to consider a few ways to make this fall time tradition a little more special and set apart. To start, I cut this little branch to create a backdrop for the bar. I love that it looks like an apple tree branch even though it’s not, plus it’s free! I decided to set up our easy apple cider branch when I did because we had just purchased a bag of apples, so it made sense to use them as props before we ate them all. I think it’s a bit too soon around here to get freshly squeezed apple cider, so I grabbed some from the store. And the donuts are from one of our favorite bakeries, Rick’s Bakery in Rogers, Arkansas. I wish they made apple cider donuts, but they do make pumpkin donuts so I’m sure we’ll be back. The great thing about an easy apple cider bar is that the kids don’t care what kind of donuts or if the cider is freshly squeezed, they just enjoy a different snack and I enjoy setting the table for our snack time.

My girls and I will often just sit down for a quick cup of tea, maybe a few cookies, but I think it also helps to make memories when they feel like the time is special and an effort was made for them. Either way, this easy apple cider bar was set up within minutes and the wooden sign, bottle basket, and cider bottle from the Target Dollar Spot made our cider bar more festive. I used our crystal punch cups, some cloth napkins, and a plaid blanket scarf for the tablecloth. I scattered some caramels around for fun and the donuts and cider quickly vanished once I got my photos taken. Our family rarely buys donuts, but I feel like they’re a treat we look forward to every fall time.

If you like the idea of a cider bar, but want some alternative dessert ideas, I have found some delicious ones. I hope you’re inspired to create your own easy apple cider bar to enjoy your own tradition every fall. Thanks so much for checking out this post.
