Delicious and Easy Summer Dessert and Drink

Is it just me or does good food taste better when it looks good too? When Quinn asked for watermelon, I decided to use some of it to garnish a new spritzer, and instead of making the cute melon balls, I decided to make a no-bake healthy cake instead. This delicious and easy summer dessert and drink were a hit with my family – they are major watermelon fans. The best part about this dessert and drink is that you can customize it and make it work for your family’s tastes.

With just a few ingredients, you can make your own watermelon cake. Once you have the two-layered cake, you can add any fruit you want to decorate it. I pushed a straw down the middle of the two watermelon layers to hold them together, but I’m pretty sure the layers stuck together from the juicy suction. You could also use a skewer to secure if you feel like you need it. With a delicious and easy summer dessert and drink taken care of, you’ll want to head over to my girl, The Menu Maid, for some healthy and delicious main course recipes.
