Cozy DIY Scarf Lumbar Pillows

Cozy DIY Scarf Lumbar Pillows

When I saw this oversized cozy scarf at Target, I couldn’t resist! The scarf is two-sided and has a great fringe on the ends. When I noticed how wide the fabric was I imagined it would make some amazing lumbar pillows. I thought about having one pillow be the gorgeous camel color and the other the cream, but I just loved the tan camel color so much that I just went with a matching set. After receiving my pillow inserts from Amazon, I just measured, cut, and sewed the scarf fabric to easily create these cozy soft lumbar pillows. If you want to make affordable autumn and winter throw pillows to make your sofas extra cozy, I recommend finding some scarves to cut up and create seasonal pillows that fit your style. Goodwill and other discount stores also have lovely scarves that you can upcycle.

Thanks for checking out this quick and easy DIY to refresh your cool-weather seasonal decor. You could upcycle anything to create your own pillow covers, but scarves are the easiest because of their shape. I also love how some scarves have a fun fringe on the end because it adds that extra detail to the throw pillow. You may also enjoy this cozy DIY project – Simple Window Treatment
